Psychotherapist
LA
I am an experienced therapist (Licensed Professional Counselor) originally from South Florida and now living in New Orleans. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida. I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients, from providing therapy in one of the top treatment centers in the country to supporting individuals in small, community non-profits. This diverse experience has given me a deep understanding of the many ways people struggle—and heal. I specialize in substance use, anxiety, and ADHD, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help clients see things differently. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make changes that actually stick. My approach I believe therapy should feel both supportive and productive—like a conversation that helps you see things in a new light while also giving you the tools to make real changes. I primarily use CBT and DBT to help clients shift unhelpful thought patterns, and I am also ‘fluent’ in 12-step methods. My approach is person-centered, warm, down-to-earth, and direct when needed—I’ll always meet you where you are, but I’ll also push you toward growth. Whether you need structure, encouragement, or just someone who really gets it, I’ll adapt our work to what helps you the most. My focus I’ve worked with just about every type of client, and I’m confident in my ability to help you. I specialize in substance use, anxiety, ADHD, and mood disorders, but more than anything, I focus on helping people who feel stuck or overwhelmed. Whether you’re navigating intrusive thoughts, big life changes, or patterns that keep repeating, I’m here to help you break through what’s holding you back. No matter where you are in your journey, we’ll find a way forward that makes sense for you.
