“I’m very comfortable opening up and expressing, explaining my feelings and fears about myself and my life. My counselor is very understanding and has given me good guidance to getting me out of my shell, living a little and knowing how to deal with various situations and the many different people I encounter. I would highly recommend for anyone feeling down, lost, not sure, stuck and in need of opening up to someone other than your friends or people you interact with daily and looking for help with direction.”

She has worked as a therapist in an intensive home-based therapy program, working with youth and family with severe emotional and mental health needs. She also led educational and therapeutic groups with children and provided individual and consultation services. She has training in suicide prevention, behavior modification and parenting interventions. Her specialty areas include treatment of grief and trauma, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), self-esteem issues, anger management, behavior modification and attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
