I am board certified in psychiatry and neurology, trained in functional and integrative medicine, and completed my medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by residency training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I specialize in adult/geriatric, reproductive, and adolescent psychiatry. I focus on the whole individual—not just a constellation of symptoms—and provide comprehensive, holistic treatment. My emphasis is on building a trusting relationship with my patients and delivering excellent care. I approach each patient with the same dedication I would want for my own loved ones and family. While I do not accept insurance, I provide superbills that can be submitted for out-of-network benefits. I see patients for a variety of mental health, emotional, and medical concerns that contribute to psychiatric issues, including depression, anxiety, insomnia, OCD, trauma, ADHD, mood and eating disorders, pregnancy/postpartum, infertility, menopause, grief, and stress. I also assist with disability and emotional support letters. Additionally, I offer functional medicine services such as bio-identical hormone therapy, gut health, and more. My expertise extends to reproductive psychiatry and women’s mental health, as well as caring for medically ill patients. I have unique training and understanding in treating patients with co-morbid medical conditions that impact mental health, including Lyme disease, cancer, chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, thyroid disease, and neurologic illnesses.
