At Serenity Rose Therapy & Wellness, we believe healing happens when you feel safe enough to show up exactly as you are. We provide compassionate, trauma-informed therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, complex trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and chronic stress. My approach goes beyond symptom management. Together, we'll explore the experiences that shaped you, understand the survival patterns that once protected you, and build new ways of responding that feel more aligned with the life you want to live. Therapy is collaborative, individualized, and paced according to your needs, because healing isn't one-size-fits-all. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in old patterns, or simply ready to know yourself more deeply, I'm here to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and practical tools for lasting change. I don't believe you're broken. I believe you've adapted. And with the right support, healing is absolutely possible.

What should a new client know about working with you?

If you're thinking about starting therapy, I want you to know this: you don't have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door. You don't need the "right" words, and you don't have to convince me that your pain is "bad enough." If it's affecting your life, it's worth talking about. My goal is to create a space where you can exhale. A space where you don't have to perform, people-please, or pretend you're okay. I'll meet you with compassion, honesty, and a little humor when it's helpful. I'll celebrate your wins, gently challenge the patterns that are keeping you stuck, and help you understand that many of the things you criticize yourself for were actually brilliant ways your mind and body learned to survive. I believe therapy works best as a partnership. You're the expert on your life; I bring the clinical knowledge and tools to help you make sense of your experiences and move toward the life you want to build. Most of all, I want you to know that I believe in your capacity to heal. Not because healing is quick or easy, but because I've seen what becomes possible when people finally have a space where they feel safe enough to be fully themselves.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Every person's healing journey is different, so there isn't a one-size-fits-all treatment plan. I will start by getting to know you and your story, what's bringing you to therapy, what feels stuck, and what you hope will be different. Together, we'll identify your goals and create a plan that feels meaningful and manageable. Early in therapy, we'll focus on building a foundation of trust, and practical skills to help you manage stress and regulate your nervous system. As you feel more grounded, we'll begin exploring the experiences and survival patterns that continue to impact your life today. Throughout the process, I'll help you make connections, develop new ways of responding, and build tools that support lasting change. Therapy isn't about rushing through your story or "fixing" you. It's about helping you understand yourself with greater compassion, reconnect with your strengths, and create a life that feels more authentic, connected, and peaceful. I'll meet you where you are, move at a pace that feels right for you, and walk alongside you every step of the way.
