Getting to know Lauren Claudio

I have experience counseling in several settings, including outpatient private practice, in-home family counseling, and institutions. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Individuals battling drug and alcohol addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, or grief are welcome for help. Veterans, first responders, and law enforcement officers are also welcomed. Individuals in recovery seeking therapy must have 12 months sober and be actively working a recovery program. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach centers upon building an honest and trusting relationship without judgment in order for you to begin healing and exploration. I use a variety of therapy techniques while providing emotional support to you and helping you to observe your thoughts and how they influence your daily life in your relationships, decisions, and moods. I believe successful results are built upon the strength of the relationship between the therapist and the individual, as well as your own willingness to be open about your feelings and receiving help. I feel that positive and negative experiences present opportunities for learning and growth.
