Psychotherapist

Life can feel messy, overwhelming, or just straight up confusing... and honestly, sometimes therapy feels that way too. I work with adults who feel stuck, disconnected, or like their emotions have a mind of their own. My approach is trauma-informed and body-based, but our sessions are guided by what works for YOU! I bring honesty, humor, and real talk, creating a space that’s supportive, grounded, and tailored to you. Together, we explore patterns, navigate difficult emotions, and build change that actually fits your life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Important: Appointments requested through ZocDoc are for a brief initial consultation only. Ongoing therapy sessions will be scheduled separately through the practice after the consultation. I approach therapy with curiosity, empathy, and a focus on understanding you as a whole person. I know that healing is not linear and treatment should be unique to each individual. I like to keep sessions real, honest, and sometimes funny, because growth doesn’t have to be solemn or stiff. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to explore what’s going on in your life, make sense of experiences that have been confusing or heavy, and figure out ways to move forward that actually fit you. I care about building a genuine connection and meeting you where you are, not where someone else "thinks" you should be.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Your therapy sessions are uniquely tailored to you. When we begin, we explore what’s going on in your life and what feels most pressing to you. The first sessions focus on building safety, connection and trust. Together, we'll explore patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and body, and work with what feels most useful for you. This may include reflective conversations, body-focused movement, exploring difficult experiences, and practicing new ways of responding to challenges in your life. Therapy moves at your pace and is always guided by your needs, with the goal of helping you leave each session feeling a little lighter, a little more capable, and more in touch with yourself!

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $175 for 55 minutes
Ongoing session: $175 for 55 minutes
  • Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront
