Hi, I'm Lauren, and I'm dedicated to helping individuals overcome the challenges of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) so they can move past intrusive thoughts and live a more value-driven life. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Aurora University and specialize in OCD treatment. I primarily use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the most effective, evidence-based approach for managing OCD. Living with OCD can be challenging and isolating, but our work together will help free you from OCD-imposed limitations so you can pursue your goals and passions.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is heavily focused on relationship building, humor, and unconditional support. We will work together to gradually face the situations that trigger your anxiety, while resisting the compulsive behaviors that are keeping you trapped. This process can feel uncomfortable and my goal is to give you as safe a space as possible to explore and expand your limitations. ERP is incredibly effective in breaking the cycle of OCD and I am so excited to act as a partner in this process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Every person living with OCD, phobias, and anxiety is incredibly resiliant. My job is to celebrate and support your natural resiliance. Whether you’re struggling with intrusive thoughts, compulsive behaviors, or both, I’m here to help you work through these challenges with confidence and compassion. If you’re ready to take the next step in your journey toward healing, I’d be honored to work with you. Together, we can create a personalized treatment plan that fits your needs, helping you build a life where OCD no longer holds you back. Let’s work together to help you accept uncertainty, overcome limitations, and embrace the fullness of life.
