Hi, I'm Lauren, and I see therapy as a partnership where you get to dictate how progress is being made. My goal is helping you understand yourself - your values, your goals - while providing tools to navigate challenges in ways that feel meaningful and authentic to you. My background in education, from preschool through high school and working as an IEP coordinator, taught me how individualized support actually works. I bring that same compassionate, curious approach to therapy - meeting you where you are, not where I think you should be.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work primarily with teens and young adults dealing with depression, anxiety, neurodiversity, and life transitions. I draw from DBT and CBT, and I integrate art therapy techniques for clients who process experiences better through non-verbal expression.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Therapy can be whatever you need it to be. There's no one "right" way to do this. I believe you should guide the therapeutic process because the more direct you are about what's working or what isn't, the more helpful our work becomes.
