Getting to know Lauren Kane

I am Lauren Kane, Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of Arrow Counseling. I completed my Master’s of Education in Counseling from the University of North Texas in 2012 and have worked in both education and private practice since then. I work with women who are making transitions, whether into parenthood, beginning a new career, going through divorce, or learning more about themselves. I have experience in working with perfectionists and people pleasers to help them learn to set boundaries and make decisions that align with who they are. I also have experience in working with women struggling with fertility as well as going through the perinatal mental health period, from becoming pregnant through the first year after birth. I have training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensistization and Reprocessing) and in Perinatal Mental Health. EMDR is a good treatment for alleviating responses associated with past trauma. I would love to join you on your journey to healing and to gaining self-confidence and transitioning through whatever life is currently bringing you.
