What should a new client know about working with you?

I assist individuals dealing with a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, panic, trauma, OCD, relationship difficulties, low self-worth, and disordered eating. I offer support through life crises including quarter-life crises, relationship crises, professional crises, and difficult life events of all kinds. Drawing from my extensive training, I employ various therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based, and Person-Centered approaches. I emphasize the importance of maintaining a strong mind-body connection throughout the therapeutic process. Passionate about supporting clients in overcoming emotional, relational, and vocational barriers, I have experience working with high-achievers, workaholics, and students who grapple with the various consequences of their drive for success. I am committed to helping you find the sometimes elusive work-life balance. Whatever your needs, I will collaborate with you to develop a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I take a holistic approach to therapy, facilitating self-exploration and uncovering the underlying causes of what is troubling you most. Additionally, I am an advocate for social and racial justice and warmly welcome clients from all cultural backgrounds and those from LGBTQIAAP+ community. I am currently developing a specialization in evidence-based eating disorder treatment. I am passionate about assisting those in formal eating disorder recovery.

More information on payments and coverage

Regarding insurance, Resolve is considered an out of network provider, as are most therapy providers in DC and nearby Virginia suburbs. This means that we collect payment at the time of service, and then we provide you with an insurance friendly receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for “out of network benefit reimbursement” that has all the appropriate codes the insurance company needs to activate your out of network benefits. Most insurance companies provide 60-80% reimbursement for “behavioral health” (typical procedure code is 90834-95) but you may want to check with your insurance company to be sure.
