What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me is a collaborative and supportive process. Many of my clients come in feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure why certain patterns keep showing up in their lives—whether that’s in relationships, self-criticism, or how they respond to stress. Together, we’ll work to better understand those patterns with curiosity and compassion, rather than judgment. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and flexible. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, so I tailor our work to what feels most helpful for you. Some sessions may focus more on insight and exploring underlying experiences, while others may be more practical and focused on tools you can use in your daily life—especially for ADHD-related challenges. Above all, I prioritize creating a space where you feel comfortable being yourself. The therapeutic relationship is a key part of the process, and I aim to meet you with empathy, honesty, and even a bit of humor along the way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know you—what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. This is also a chance for you to get a feel for me and ask any questions, so we can make sure it feels like a good fit. From there, our work will focus on identifying patterns, building insight, and developing strategies that support meaningful change. Depending on your needs, this may include processing past experiences (including trauma work with EMDR), exploring relationship dynamics, or working on practical skills such as managing overwhelm, organization, and self-criticism. Sessions are collaborative and paced in a way that feels safe and manageable. Over time, the goal is to help you feel more grounded, self-aware, and empowered in how you navigate your life and relationships.
