I have 12 years of experience providing therapy for trauma, addiction, and anxiety, and I understand the challenges these struggles can bring. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University, Sarasota, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to offer effective, compassionate care. What should a new client know about working with you?

I enjoy working with adults who are learning to break free from toxic parents and want to work to build a strong sense of self-worth and confidence to achieve their goals. I combine trauma therapy approaches to help heal from the past, while also providing encouragement and motivation to strive for future goals and build the life you are dreaming for yourself. For the first session, we will go over your reasons for signing up for therapy, along with your history, and discuss your goals. Feel free to ask questions of both the therapy process and of myself, as a strong-working relationship is key to your healing.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I know that going into therapy can feel daunting, but I make the process simple. I am strong at empowering my clients to take charge of their lives and take back their power from others who work to keep them small and broken. I tend to use a lot of metaphors to help with building understanding and also humor to assist with keeping things down to earth. I am also a direct person and I think this helps to show authenticity, as you will always know what to expect in terms of my personality and our interactions.
