Getting to know Lauren Noelle

Sometimes the most exhausting thing isn't your workload - it's the constant noise in your head. I work with adults who are tired of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves, whether that shows up as anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, or the sense that life is moving fast but something still feels off. My approach is warm, unhurried, and collaborative. I don't believe therapy needs to feel clinical or rigid to be effective. Some of my clients come from high-pressure environments and are worn down by the pace. Others are navigating quieter struggles, such as depression, relationship patterns, past experiences that won't stop showing up. Whatever brings you here, my goal is to help you understand yourself more clearly and move forward with more ease. I draw from humanistic and cognitive behavioral approaches, and I tailor the work to you - your story, your goals, your pace.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You don't have to have it together before you walk through the door. Most people don't. I try to make therapy feel like a real conversation - honest, curious, and without judgment. My style is laid-back and direct. I'm not going to throw jargon at you or make you feel like you're being analyzed. What I will do is pay close attention, ask the questions worth asking, and help you see patterns you might not be able to see on your own. I also bring a genuine belief that people are more resilient than they give themselves credit for. I've worked with clients navigating some of life's harder transitions - including recovery from substance use - and what I've seen is that real change is possible, even when it doesn't feel that way yet.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first few sessions are about getting to know you - your story, what's brought you here, and what you're hoping changes. I want to understand who you are before we start talking about where you're going. From there, we'll work together to identify patterns, build self-awareness, and develop approaches that actually fit your life. We'll check in regularly to make sure the work is moving in a direction that feels useful and aligned. I also sometimes bring music into the work - not always, but for clients who find it meaningful, a song can open up something that's hard to put into words.
