Hello! I'm Lauren, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) specializing in working with adolescents and adults. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from West Chester University. With a collaborative and person-centered approach, I am committed to helping my clients navigate life changes, develop self-awareness, and achieve their personal goals. My goal is to be a trusted partner in your journey toward mental and emotional well-being.
I have over 15 years of experience in counseling, primarily in Residential Treatment Facilities and High School Settings. I have worked with issues related to anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, adjustment and transition, interpersonal concerns, and parenting challenges. My experience in school settings has given me the opportunity to work extensively with individuals with learning disabilities. Additionally, I have a wealth of knowledge related to post-secondary planning and career exploration. I also have experience supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community and underserved populations.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I work alongside my clients as they explore their emotions, thoughts and behaviors. This collaborative effort fosters trust and empowers individuals to take an active role in their therapeutic journey. After your first session, you can expect to have set a goal for therapy and have an idea of how to move towards that goal.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
