With a diverse background in inpatient and outpatient care at the VA Healthcare System, private practice, and as an adjunct professor at UNR?s Social Work Department, I bring a wealth of experience to help you overcome challenges. I specialize in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, relationship issues, and substance use disorders. My passion lies in guiding individuals to gain skills and insights that enable them to live life to the fullest. Together, we?ll embark on a journey of growth and empowerment.
I have training in various evidence-based practices, with my primary orientation being cognitive behavioral therapy. However, I understand each individual is unique, so our work will be customized to your preferences, learning styles, and coping skills. Creating a safe space for you to process experiences, explore emotions, and develop new ways to interact with your environment is my priority.
