Lauren Wolf, LCSW

Psychotherapist
IL
I'm Dr. Lauren Wolf, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Doctor of Social Work with many years of experience supporting adults, older adults, caregivers, and families through complex life and health-related challenges. My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, honesty, and respect for the full context of each person's life.\n\nI often support clients navigating grief, chronic illness, disability, caregiving stress, trauma, anxiety, burnout, major life transitions, and the emotional impact of medical or family circumstances. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who are used to carrying a lot for others, but may now feel overwhelmed, depleted, uncertain, or in need of a space where they can slow down and be supported.\n\nMy therapy style is collaborative, practical, and strengths-based. I aim to create a steady space where we can make sense of what you are carrying, identify what matters most, and build coping strategies that feel realistic for your life. I do not believe therapy has to be cold, clinical, or one-size-fits-all. Together, we can pause, reflect, and move toward greater clarity, self-compassion, and steadiness.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
