Getting to know Laurence Zirschky

Hello, I'm Larry. Considering counseling can feel scary, but also courageous when you think about letting another individual enter your life and share some of your most sensitive issues. I want you to know that I count it a privilege to be able to help you discover effective skills and tools to reach your life and relational goals. My calling is not to make decisions for you, but to create a collaborative, non-judgmental, and empathetic atmosphere where healing of the heart and maturity in thinking can take place. I offer counseling using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). For those who wish to incorporate their faith into therapy, I also provide faith-based counseling. My desire is to help adults and couples struggling with depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and relationship and communication issues. My training includes a Master of Divinity from Denver Seminary and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I also have over forty years of pastoral counseling experience and retired as a Navy Chaplain after serving over 26 years.
