She is very kind and understanding! I loved talking with her, and she is a great listener.
Laurie was amazing at making me feel seen and comfortable
Laurie Longfield, LCPC, is an exceptional provider. She is a skilled listener and communicator with a deep reservoir of empathy.
Does a great job connecting with the patient and building rapport immediately. As a parent, I appreciate being able to at time connect with Laurie to discuss my child’s needs as they evolve.
She was very understanding, waited for e to finish me sentences instead of it me like recent people have. Showed concern, and gave me a lot of help I needed it.
Laurie was absolutely amazing with my two children. Her guidance and patience with working with them showed almost immediately. Her sweet demeanor and ability to understand the children and being to meet them where they are emotionally has been unmatched. I Highly recommend Laurie to anyone.
Laurie is super helpful. There are no awkward pauses and you don’t feel judged at all! The sessions seem to fly by. If I feel stressed or down prior to an appointment, my mood is noticeably better afterwards (even though my circumstances obviously hadn’t changed yet). I’ve gotten a lot of useful tools so far, I would recommend.
I always look forward to my sessions with her as she is incredibly kind, thoughtful, understanding, and an active listener. She challenges me to look at myself as a whole in order to become a better version of myself. The activities we do during the duration of our sessions allow for someone to adequately look at the big picture and help to manage various problems in one’s life as well as in the world. She is an incredible therapist and has helped me greatly.
Laurie was an amazing therapist. She had a great perspective and approach to her sessions. I loved how she showed so much empathy and emotional support.
I felt that our visits were comfortable and conversational. The support and tools I received were directly applicable to my life and situation and were very helpful.
Laurie is always very thoughtful, kind, and a great listener. She’s very attentive and makes me feel heard. She’s genuine and always wants what’s in my best interest. This was my first time in therapy and thanks to her I’d like to continue therapy. It’s helped a lot!
Laurie is the best! She is super understanding, patient and feels like a friend. She is stern and pushes me when she needs to be and soft when she needs to be. I always feel comfortable telling her anything and she has made our sessions a very safe and judgement free zone.
Every meeting with Laurie is exceptionally good! She's so good at what she does. I highly highly recommend her 100%. She makes me feel very comfortable when talking about anything. She's a good listener and gives the best advice. I am so glad I found her.
It is hard to put into words what Laurie has done for me. I came to her at the absolute worst point in my life. I’ve never had someone who would truly listen to me, ask meaningful, reflective questions, challenge my thinking and truly take the time to reflect with me. She gave me strategies and tools that I used through difficult times and continues to provide meaningful support in all areas of my life. I can honestly say that Laurie gave me my life back. It’s not at all the life I thought I wanted when I began this journey but she helped me see that what I thought I wanted wasn’t what was meant for me. Learning to pause, choose my own outcomes, question, reflect and see different perspectives has been life changing. The relationship we have built over the last 3 1/2 years is one of the most meaningful connections I’ve ever had in my life and I’m continually grateful for the hard work and dedication she has to her clients. I am where I am because of our work together.
Laurie is a fantastic healthcare professional. She is very invested and attentive to her clients. Her work ethic and reliability makes her a joy to work with. Laurie is a trustworthy and caring therapist that I would recommend to anyone.
She was an absolute angel! She helped me so much! It was so easy to talk with her, it felt like old friends chatting over coffee. Without her help and support I honestly do not know where I would be today.
Laurie is very empathetic and receptive towards trauma. She is nonjudgemental and open minded. Her heart and knowledge is huge. She hears you out and offers advice that helps, using a wide range of options to find a good fit for you. She is very personable and is genuinely interested in therapy ethics and helping others. Sincerely a kind and compassionate soul that I would go back to time and time again.
