Getting to know Laurie Lundquist
Hello! I'm Laurie Lundquist, a Licensed, Clinical Social Worker with Registration Status (LCSW-R) in New York. I have over 25 years of experience in psychotherapy. In addition to my clinical work, I’ve served as an administrator for a tri-county mental health clinic, where I supervised a team of 23 psychologists and social workers; and received top accreditations from NYS, relating to mission and policy (overseeing several organizations).
I enjoy being able to help all people with a variety of issues; such as stress, depression, life transitions, work-related concerns, coping skills, grief, anxiety, and relationship struggles. I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. I recently completed a certificate course via Harvard University on “Resilience, Anxiety and Mental Health.” I enjoy assisting via EAP referrals, as well as longer term assistance. I am also interested in consulting for executives, management, and non clinical life coaching sessions.
