I am an LGBTQ 2nd-gen Asian American male therapist providing virtual therapy for CA residents. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ teens and young adults with depression, and also have experience with parenting, BPD, and conflictual family dynamics.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I provide a psychodynamic and attachment-based focus, meaning we examine how past experiences and relationships inform your sense of self and current relationships. I also aim to provide a sense of safety for all my clients by following their lead and being as transparent as possible, so you know what to expect. I am also open to feedback and am queer- and ND-affirming.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We start with scheduling a free consultation to determine if we're a good fit and if weekly sessions are the right level of care. If it makes sense to the both of us, we can schedule an ongoing session. I follow your lead, meaning we start with what is most important to you and continue to explore as things come up.
