I am a licensed clinical social worker with 16 years of experience providing individual and group therapy. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Smith School for Social Work. In my practice, I use strength-based psychotherapy to help you make the changes you want in your life. You are the expert on you, and you are in charge. I'm in it with you, and I will listen closely, reflect, and offer ideas, perspectives, and strategies that will allow you to cope more effectively, make positive changes, understand yourself, and direct your future. In session, I use humor, mindfulness, perspective-taking, and a deep respect for your experiences to accompany you and help you work toward who and how you want to be.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first session consists of gathering information about your historical experiences that led you to the meeting. This may include discussion of your family history and a mental health history. Discussion is focused on relationship building and finding out your goals and desires for our work together.
