Getting to know Leah Corrigan
I am experienced working with clients who have been challenged by distressing or traumatic life events who are ready to put in the work to improve their life, learn healthy coping, and feel positive about themselves with a non-judgmental, empathic therapist. I am a licensed therapist (LPC), nationally certified counselor (NCC) and EMDR trained working with clients with all types of concerns. My experience includes working in urban education and a community mental health setting. My early experience was with a sexual assault prevention and counseling center. My life experience also includes raising 3 children. In 2019, I was awarded the credential of certified professional practitioner of animal assisted therapy from the International Institute of Animal Assisted Play Therapy. In my free time, I am a volunteer service dog puppy raiser with Canine Partners for Life.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
