Getting to know Leah Farley

Welcome! My name is Leah and I’m a psychotherapist and owner of my private practice. I have a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and I specialize in supporting neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ adults with anxiety, ADHD, Autism, OCD, depression, stress, burnout, and late diagnosis.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My clients tell me I come across as warm, affirming, and open-minded. I use a collaborative, trauma-informed approach, guiding you to build upon your strengths, develop your awareness of self, and practice mindfulness and self-compassion in a safe and supportive environment. I particularly value using experiential therapy modalities in session because they give the opportunity to resolve painful emotions in real time. I am welcoming and inclusive of creative types, highly sensitive people, gifted people, perfectionists, and poly-kink.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In your first session, we'll talk about your therapy goals and what brought you to seek therapy. In the sessions that follow, I will gently invite you to notice your emotions and build a compassionate relationship with the inner parts of yourself that may be anxious, hurting, avoidant, or acting out. My clients tell me they feel a release of tension and a growing sense of calm and confidence. If this is what you are seeking too, I hope you'll reach out! I look forward to meeting you.
