Getting to know Leah Hastings

As someone who has worked to decolonize and learn my role in the world, I feel I understand the complexities of individual identity. I aim to offer compassionate guidance on your journey of selfexploration and growth.Sometimes the way society is set up impacts our mental health and it is not always our brain thats the problem, but the systems that are problematic. I have 20 years in 2024 of experience in the child and family servicesadvocacy field, finding my passion working with youth and families stuck in broken systems. Prior to earning my MSW, I worked with incarcerated youth and families involved in the child welfare system. I have experience with a variety of needs including trauma, ADHD, gender identity, womens experiences, and grief with a holistic approach to meet each clients complex needs.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
