My purpose as a therapist is providing a safe environment for you to feel understood and supported on your path to personal growth and recovery. I believe in guiding the healing process through a compassionate and person-centered approach integrating various therapeutic methods tailored to meet each individual's needs, ensuring that you feel seen and heard.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
During our initial sessions, we will work together to understand your personal story and goals for therapy to create a treatment plan that fits your individual needs. We will collaborate throughout the treatment process to help you feel empowered to heal from your struggles. I often use a combination of Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy in my practice. In our sessions we will compassionately explore the connections between your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. I will guide you through developing healthier patterns of thinking as well as tools to deal with distress in the mind and the body.
