Getting to know Leah Taylor

Greetings, I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida, holding a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University. I have a plethora of experience working with various populations, addressing issues such as substance use, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, LGBTQ concerns, homelessness, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and trauma including sexual, emotional, and physical abuse. My counseling style is client-centered, utilizing CBT, DBT, psycho-educational, and psychodynamic therapy. I believe we are all unique individuals living through different experiences. My goal is to help you navigate through the darkness so you can live the life you want, acquiring the coping skills and tools needed along the way. You are more than your trauma, inner childhood wounds, and the labels placed on you. Let's work together! I'm looking forward to meeting you!

What should a new client know about working with you?

During the first session, I will provide information on my background and experience. We will discuss confidentiality and review any signed paper work. I will discuss what is bringing you to therapy, and answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding therapy.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
