Psychotherapist
HI
I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Fayetteville State University and a Bachelor’s from Columbus State Community College. I have extensive training in trauma-focused modalities. Along my professional and spiritual journey through the Wellness Institute in Washington, A.U.M. in Chicago, and Arthur Findlay College in the UK, I have trained in Advanced Clinical Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy, Breathwork, Subtle Energy, Mediumship, and Shamanic traditions. A veteran with over 20 years of experience in military life as a spouse, service member, and therapist, I continue to grow and enjoy sharing all I learn. I am the founder of Inner Workings and currently reside in Hawaii. My approach Life is full of unplanned, unexpected events that can be difficult—but all surmountable! I believe that once we clear away some of the egos, our inner voice or higher self can be heard. If we choose to listen, incredible shifts begin—shifts that lead to our best selves! My focus No one changes unless they want to. Not through shame, reason, emotion, or tough love. Change comes from one’s own realization that it is needed. My communication style I provide a loving, accepting, supportive, and self-empowering environment where it is safe to take stock, love, and forgive yourself and others through everything life brings. My journey to mental healthcare I love helping people and hope to help them love themselves deeply so they can spread love and joy with those around them, helping heal the world. My goals for you I encourage clients to set their own goals and remind them of their strengths and what they have already overcome in achieving those goals. My first session with you Active listening and rapport building.
