What should a new client know about working with you?

When working with me, you can expect a warm, compassionate, and collaborative space where your unique story is valued. My therapy style is person-centered and culturally sensitive, focusing on your individual experiences and goals. I use evidence-based techniques tailored to your needs, including EMDR for trauma and strategies for navigating life transitions and family dynamics. Together, we’ll explore the past, build practical tools for the present, and work toward meaningful change. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to foster growth, resilience, and well-being.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work together begins with a comprehensive biopsychosocial intake session, where I take the time to understand your history, current concerns, strengths, and goals. This session helps us create a clear picture of your unique needs and sets the foundation for our work together. After the intake, individual sessions are tailored to your goals and focus on the areas most important to you. Each session may include a mix of exploring your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, processing past experiences, and developing practical tools for coping and growth. Whether we're working through challenges, building resilience, or fostering deeper self-awareness, every session is designed to support your personal journey. Together, we’ll create a collaborative and flexible process that evolves as your needs and goals change.
