It’s common for mental health providers to be out-of-network. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network coverage, so you may get partially reimbursed. Learn more

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $160 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $160 for 60 minutes
  • Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront

Appointments: The therapy session is 50 to 55 minutes. I schedule my own appointments and make arrangements at your convenience. If you need to cancel an appointment, please give me at least 24 hours notice. Failure to provide notice generally means that some other person is not able to use the appointment time that has been reserved for you. My policy is to charge for missed appointments at the rate of $70.00 unless you have canceled 24 hours in advance. Emergency cancellations (less than 24 hours) are handled on an individual basis. Please DO NOT send an email to cancel a scheduled appointment. You can text me to cancel or change an appointment. Three missed appointments without 24-hour notice will result in the termination of the therapeutic relationship and a forfeiture of your regularly scheduled time weekly, biweekly, or monthly.
