Lee Moore, LCSW

Lee Moore, LCSW

Psychotherapist
TN
I am a compassionate therapist who helps individuals manage worry, stress, and anxiety holistically. Understanding how these affect the mind and body, I build rapport and empathy to create a safe space. I listen attentively and collaborate with clients to uncover root causes, aiming to positively impact their lives. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, which has equipped me with a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic practices. I practice client-centered therapy, tailoring my approach to each individual's needs and combining therapeutic modalities like EMDR, somatic exercises, and DBT. My eclectic approach uncovers effective coping skills for clients. Central to my methodology are somatic exercises such as movement, yoga/Qigong, nature walks, and mindfulness, addressing both physical sensations and emotional challenges stored in the body and mind. I aim to empower my clients to manage their worries, alleviate stress, and reduce anxiety, promoting overall well-being and resilience. Through my inclusive and integrative therapeutic practices, I support individuals on their journey toward mental and emotional health. My clients will have activities and exercises to practice outside of the session.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
