I approach my clients with support to help them bring out the best in themselves. I also use challenging questions and a direct approach to address issues and get to the point of what needs to be resolved. I have a graduate degree in social work, licensed by the state of Connecticut, and I am also licensed in Florida. I have worked in human services as a therapist, crisis social worker, EAP, inpatient hospital, outpatient, supervisor, and director of programs. As a therapist, I deal with chronic behavioral mental illness and substance abuse, deal with family dynamics, couples therapy, and crisis intervention, and work with different diagnoses such as anxiety and Depression. The modalities I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-focused Therapy, and crisis intervention, and I am also in tune with cultural, racial, gender, and age groups.
