Getting to know Lesa Johnson

Hello, I am Lesa. Are you struggling with day-to-day life? Having a hard time dealing with relationships due to past traumas? Feeling like you are trapped in an exit-less room and can't seem to make sense of it? I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Clinical Social Work from the University of Houston and a Bachelor's from Sam Houston State University. I have experience in trauma, depression, and anxiety. We will work together to identify mental health goals to accomplish, develop healthy coping skills, and build boundaries to protect and maintain your mental health. I will meet you where you are in life and use evidence-based methods and techniques to overcome challenges and finally be mentally free. Let's get to work!

What should a new client know about working with you?

During the initial session, we will get to know each other, identify the problem, and develop a game plan for reaching your treatment goals. At each session, we will review successes, challenges, and any new information. The process on goals will be assessed during the session.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I love all of my sessions with her! If I could pick all of these therapy styles I would. She is overall amazing she listens and she understands it's like talking to a close friend who gives the best advice and never judges you! She makes you feel welcomed and she doesn't just listen she actually HEARS what you are saying which is something I think everyone should have!
Ms. Lesa helps me with finding solutions to my problems. She makes me open and comfortable with expressing my feelings. She has been super nice, warm and welcoming since our first encounter.
She clicks a lot of those boxes, not just the two I choose. She’s humorous and helps you realize hard truths about yourself in an empowering way.
