Psychotherapist

Congratulations on starting (or continuing) your wellness journey. Engaging in therapy can feel like a big step, and I’m here to make sure that it's meaningful to you. I specialize in working with individuals navigating life transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, and child and family dynamics. I also have experience working with youth who identify on the 2SLGBTQIA+ rainbow. I believe that every client has a foundation of resilience that they bring to treatment. Together, we will identify and build upon those foundational strengths to help create the changes you want to achieve. I welcome you to reach out whenever you feel ready to begin. I’m here to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can be yourself. My approach My treatment approach is strengths-based, anti-racial, social justice-oriented, and family-centered. I work through a client-centered lens, which begins with developing a relationship with you so that we can form a team approach to the work we need to do. My method of treatment will depend on your specific needs, but I may employ interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy, brief solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, or collaborative problem solving. Your goals and progress are my primary focus. Together, we’ll identify challenges and work on developing the strategies and tools that you need to help you feel more in control of your emotions and behaviors. When working with children and families, sometimes, I will work with the child and adult caregiver individually, and other times, we will meet all together. I believe that family involvement is crucial to youth making long-lasting change. Families are systems, and it is difficult for one part of a system to change without affecting change elsewhere in the system. As such, I require family involvement when working with children.
