Getting to know Lesley Weir
Trauma work is my passion. In nearly twenty years in this field, I am constantly astonished and rewarded by the growth I witness as individuals experience healing. My own journey through trauma led me to this work and granted me the opportunity to explore various ways to heal. I now incorporate both personal and observed experiences into my counseling practice to help others experience growth and healing.
I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, which has deepened my understanding and skills in this area. I integrate mind and body work through breathwork, yoga, and EMDR to support holistic healing. I would love to connect and start or continue with you on your healing journey.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Our sessions will provide you with the safety to allow emotions and memories to surface. We will work together to close trauma cycles, release tension in the body, and reconnect with yourself and others. You will learn techniques to calm the amygdala, connect your body, become present, and integrate memories.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
