Getting to know Leslie Deal

Life can be challenging and difficult. I am deeply passionate about helping others through those challenges. I have many years of counseling experience and have worked with many demographics of people, including couples, singles, parents, children, and adolescents. I am intensely strength-based and believe in identifying the strengths of individuals to help them find solutions to their problems. I have experience working in many different areas of counseling others, but the three areas I am most passionate about are trauma, relationships, and anxiety. People closest to me tell me that I have an inviting and safe way of relating to others when they are hurting deeply. I take great effort to listen well and without judgment. My personal life experiences, education, and career opportunities have provided me with a myriad of perspectives. I am also a wife of over 40 years, with four adult children and thirteen wonderful grandchildren. I am trained in Marriage and Family Therapy and have conducted therapy for more than 20 years. In addition, I have experienced my own fair share of adversity, all of which helps me provide others with needed support to overcome their challenges.

Communication with the actual app, Sondermind< is very poor and has no phone numbers to be able to contact them in an urgent matter, Honestly I would switch providers but I really LOVE working with Leslie Deal, she has helped me so much since starting with her. I hope things change, I know I am one person.

Clearer insurance sign up (options do not include all companies which have SonderMind in-network) and better customer service. I submitted a ticket over the above and was simply told to verify SonderMind was in-network through my insurance. Submitting my insurance resulted in an error through your website, and I still don’t know if it will process properly.
