My communication style I approach my clients with empathy, choosing to actively listen to their stories, to tailor their therapy specifically for them. I am patient and provide a nonjudgmental environment where open, honest communication is respected. My journey to mental healthcare My own personal therapy as a teen led me to appreciate the counseling field. I knew that I wanted to give back and help others, as my therapist had helped me. This led me to pursue a Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in Psychology, followed by my Master's Degree in Professional Counseling at Argosy University. I've been involved in helping people in many different environments, including psychiatric care, individual, group, and family therapy. I am also a certified teacher and have spent time with students of all ages in the classroom.
