Getting to know Leslie Hart

Hello, I'm Leslie. In my experience, clients often struggle and suffer alone as they cope with anxiety, depression, grief, or trauma. My role as a therapist is to create a safe space in which you can give voice to the things that are concerning to you, brainstorm with you about possible solutions, and help you develop a specific and measurable plan of action to help you cope better. Research has consistently shown that the relationship between a mental health provider and their client is the biggest predictor of successful client outcomes. To that end, I provide a safe, non-judgmental environment in which you can be transparent and open. Are you experiencing pain and sadness? I believe therapy is a collaborative process, in which I provide support to my clients as they work to uncover their own life wisdom. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 20 years of experience. Additional credentials include: Certified Trauma Specialist and Certified Telehealth Provider (PESI). In my practice, I use CBT, DBT, Mindfulness-based therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Integrative Therapy.
