Getting to know Leslie Salas

Looking for a therapist can feel overwhelming- but when you find someone who truly gets you, it can make all the difference. My hope is to be that person for you. I'm a first generation Mexican-American therapist, and while most of my sessions are in English, I also speak Spanish and enjoy working with bilingual and bicultural clients. I know how important it is to feel seen and understood, especially when navigating different parts of your identity and life experiences. I work with adults who are facing anxiety, depression, major life changes, grief, substance use, or women's issues.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is flexible and collaborative- no one-size-fits-all therapy here. I draw from ACT, DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Client-Centered approaches to meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be. Most of all, I aim to create a space that feels warm, honest, and supportive- where you can explore things that might feel uncomfortable, without judgement.
