I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Texas. As a graduate of Baylor University with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Social Work from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, I've worked with various populations in New York, the District of Columbia and Texas.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I've worked with clients who have experienced symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, stress and self harm. Life is all about balancing our emotional, physical and mental wellbeing. At times, obstacles, challenges or setbacks can cause one to need a safe space to be able to express themselves without bias. Have you been thinking about making a change but you're struggling with how to go about taking the first step? I can assist you with your first step in therapy. My focus is to empower you to accomplish your goals and to help you live a more fulfilling life. I'm able to create a personalized experience based on your needs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

At our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and discuss some details about what led you to the place you are in now. Our sessions thereafter will consist of using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing or Solution Focused Therapy.
