Hi there, I'm Lettice! Greetings. I have been practicing Clinical Social Worker since 2005. When working with a client, it's important for me to start where my client is and begin to work on cognitive processing to address areas of concern. My approach My approach in working with clients is to speak directly and to provide a safe space for clients to open up in order to make each session productive. My focus I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults. My communication style Begin an active listener in session is important, and letting the client set the tone of session helps a client address their concerns openly. My journey to mental healthcare I have always been a part of helping others through various avenues of my life, and knew it was my career path. My family was always helping others through our church, school, and community, and it always helped me stay grounded. One of my mentors in high school was a clinical social worker, and after spending a summer volunteering, it really became my purpose in life. My goals for you Clients needs to actively involve in setting goals in order for them to achieve. My first session with you During the first session, we will discuss what led to the client seeking therapy, what they would like to get out of the sessions, communication, and assess the areas of concern.
