“I met with Levi Miller via zoom psychotherapy for about 1 year and 8 months in total. Levi is very professional and skilled as a therapist. He has helped me in a very significant way, to help me deal with several long-standing issues/challenges(e.g. forgiveness, anxiety, how to be assertive). He is very empathetic, and utilizes effective exercises to reinforce therapy concepts discussed. I would highly recommend him as a therapist. ”

Getting to know Levi Miller

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist with an MSW from Monmouth University. I specialize in the treatment of depressive and anxious disorders, complex trauma and PTSD, and Borderline Personality Disorder.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My path to becoming a therapist began when I experienced firsthand the impact a great therapist can have. That experience made me want to do the same for others. I went on to attend Monmouth University and earn a degree in social work. During my internship at an IOP program, I worked with individuals facing both mental health and substance use challenges and learned how deeply trauma, addiction, and mental health are connected. I later worked in an outpatient mental health clinic, where I worked with a broad range of people, mental health conditions, and life circumstances. That experience shaped how I work today, drawing on different approaches depending on what each person actually needs. As an integrative therapist, I believe that therapy isn't one size fits all. I'm trained in several therapeutic approaches and tailor each session to the person in front of me. We often start with the practical side of things, building coping skills and emotional regulation through CBT and DBT. From there we go deeper, using Internal Family Systems (IFS) to foster a more compassionate inner dialogue and begin healing what's underneath. My hope is that through our work together, you leave feeling clearer and more grounded in yourself, with the strength to live in a way that actually reflects your authentic values.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Once you have booked an intake appointment on Zocdoc, I will send over digital intake, insurance, and HIPAA forms from my billing service. The day before your session, you will receive a link for your HIPAA compliant telehealth meeting. During our intake session, we will explore what has been going on in your life and what brought you to therapy. When appropriate, I will conduct proper assessments to get a clearer picture of what you are experiencing and how we can best work together.

Levi was my therapist for about 3 years, he is the best therapist I have ever experienced. I have made tremendous progress with my anxiety. I feel more grounded and overall happier as a person. He is very empathetic and caring and really wants to see you make progress. Now a days it’s hard to find a good therapist, and I felt very lucky to work with him. Highly recommend!!
Levi Miller is excellent. He has gotten me through some of the hardest time in my life. He made me see situations in a different light. He’s very calm, patient, and he gives awesome feedback. He also very truthful. He made me into a better person. I came to him with anger in me and he taught me how to handle certain situations, and how to channel my emotions. There were times I would call him if I was having a bad day and he will pick up to talk to me. He is very dedicated. I give him more than five stars because I am now a much more peaceful and calm person. Thank you so much Levi Miller ??
Dr. Miller has helped me tremendously!! I’ve been in therapy with him since 2019 and he’s been the most patient, empathetic person to me. He is a big part in the reason of why I have decided to continue my education with Psychology. I hope to be an amazing therapist like him one day! Thank you Levi for getting me through my toughest battles.
I would not be the person I am if it was not for Mr. Miller he helped me fix so many of my issue's I wish him sussex in his future
I know choosing a therapist can be hard because you want to find someone that can understand you without judgement and easy to talk to. Words can’t comprehend how amazing Levi is as a therapist . He’s open and kind and most important understanding without judging. He’s the best therapist I’ve ever had. Choosing him to be your therapist you will not be disappointed . His honesty and his prompt responses are remarkable.
A therapy session with Levi for my 9-year-old son involves reviewing what they have been currently working on, asking the child how the week went, reviewing recent real-life situations, occurrences and openly speaking about what could be done to improve certain reactions, behaviors. Levi’s involvement of the family/caretakers of the child has been a positive experience because everyone is involved, and we discuss what needs to be done to address certain behaviors, and ways to go about it in challenging times. He provides the parents with useful resources when needed and checks up on the behavior chart weekly, gives positive feedback to reassure the child knows what he is doing right, what is expected of him and how to behave to work towards their goals. Overall a pleasant experience. I highly recommend.
