Psychotherapist
3401 Quebec St, Ste 4500, Denver, CO
As a licensed mental health therapist and registered dance/movement therapist, I specialize in helping individuals of all ages navigate emotional challenges. I use a compassionate, holistic approach to empower my clients, integrating movement and creativity to support healing and personal growth. Dance/Movement Therapy offers a dynamic solution by integrating storytelling with movement to help individuals find strategies to calm their bodies when overwhelmed, practice communicating effectively, navigate social interactions, and build self-esteem and self-advocacy through safe emotional expression. How I work with Ages 3-8: They learn four ways to focus—body, eyes, mind, and ears—to help children thrive in therapy and beyond. Intentionally use art to craft emotional stories, explore and express feelings through movement, expand their emotional vocabulary with dance, music, and play, and celebrate their unique strengths with rewards. How I work with Neurodivergent individuals, including those on a 504 plan: Collaborate with school representatives to understand the child's background and build skills for academic success: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Dyslexia, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia Dysgraphia (learning disabilities) Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) Does your Tween (9-12): need help with: 1. Managing anxiety and emotional regulation? 2. Building self-confidence and social skills? 3. Coping with academic pressure and family dynamics? Through somatic movement and expressive dance, I help pre-teens turn anxiety into confidence by building emotional awareness and self-regulation skills in a fun and engaging way.
