My focus Struggling to move past depression, anxiety, anger, or traumatic memories no matter how hard you try? I use evidence-based approaches, such as DBT and EMDR, that not only support cognitive change but also works to shift neurological and somatic responses, helping clients achieve the lasting relief they’ve been seeking for years. My approach I primarily use an integrated approach of EMDR and DBT, but I often use other approaches as well. With this integrated approach, we will focus on regulation and grounding and finding relief from past experiences affecting you in the present. My communication style My approach to therapy is client-centered and direct. I aim to be warm, validating, and appropriately confrontational. I see our sessions as a conversation where you are the focus. You are the expert on your own life, and I am here as a guide to help you explore your feelings and reach your goals. My journey to mental healthcare My journey into therapy began with a curiosity about human resilience and a desire to help others find strength through life’s challenges. Working with trauma survivors showed me the power of therapy in healing. I’m driven by the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth, healing, and lasting change.
