Lex Reed is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-Supervisor in Texas with more than 33 years and 10,000 hours of experience in pastoral counseling and marriage and family therapy. Lex received his Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas A&M University-Central Texas. He also holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Erskine Theological Seminary and a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas. Lex has served as an executive director of a global mission organization. Having completed a 37-year career in the US Army and US Navy, Lex has extensive love and compassion for working with military families. He has lived the challenges of the military lifestyle, deployments, and the impact they have on couples and families. Lex appreciates exploring the spiritual journey and how that journey impacts and informs decisions in life. Lex is a Gottman Certified Therapist (Level 2), weaving in similar tenets of Gary Chapman's Five Love Languages, and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR Level 1). Outside of work, Lex enjoys NHRA Top Fuel drag racing, Atlanta Braves baseball, and MotoGP motorcycle racing. However, being involved with his family in anything has been the highlight of his life, ensuring his children find and follow their dreams!
