I am a board-certified Mental Health Counselor who works with individuals and couples, providing care for patients struggling with interpersonal relationships, depression, and anxiety. I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the City University of New York, Brooklyn College. What should a new client know about working with you?

I have extensive experience with Attachment-focused therapy, CBT, Psychodynamics as my treatment approach is rooted in developing deep insight & skill building. Through a kind, patient, direct and encouraging approach I can help you build your skills strongly & thoughtfully.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Prior to meeting with me for an initial session we will have 15-minute or shorter consultation phone call in order to determine us being the right fit as counselor & client, determine availability & insurance verification and discuss initial paperwork processes. During the therapeutic process, you can expect to develop deep insights into yourself, goal setting for resolving your deepest struggles and developing healthy approaches to all your challenges. Through the use of Psychodynamics, you will develop into a more resilient person capable of enduring your most challenging obstacles.

I accept United Healthcare, Oxford, Oscar, Aetna, Cigna, and BCBS insurance of which may or may not include low co-pay amounts. I do not currently accept any medicaid plans yet; however, there will be paneling with medicaid and other insurances in the coming future.
