“Finally ending mental/physical abusive marriage-my older brother (a doctor) suggested that I try telehealth for therapy-so I did- I live in very very small town & overall small state so finding Libby was a miracle - I have been in regular weekly sessions since May 2025 - she gets it w/o me having to over explain - she has restored my hope in myself & my future, has taught me valuable coping skills & ways of dealing & actually healing a lifetime of CPTSD. I would have never made it w/o her”

Getting to know Libby Harrison

Hi there, I'm Libby! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Rogers, Arkansas. Seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, but my goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered in ways that foster growth. If you're ready to take the next step, I'm here to help. My approach I use evidence-based approaches tailored to fit your unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress; Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), which helps build skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness; Reality Therapy, which emphasizes personal responsibility and problem-solving to help you take control of your life and make more effective choices; Client-Centered Therapy, providing a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace; and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), a structured approach that helps process and reframe trauma-related thoughts, reducing the impact of past experiences. My focus I work with adults from all walks of life, including those navigating major life transitions, coping with chronic stress, or struggling with mental health challenges. My clients often include individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders (including Bipolar), addiction, grief, family dynamics, OCD, agoraphobia, psychosis, personality disorders, dissociation, and LGBTQIA+ concerns. My communication style I take a direct and authentic approach-what you see is what you get. While I bring clinical expertise, my style is down-to-earth and conversational, making our work together feel natural and collaborative.
