What should a new client know about working with you?

First, we begin by going through understanding your history, background, and life experiences in order to understand more thoroughly and without judgment or anger, why your brain created the coping mechanisms it did which are no longer working for you today. Then we dive into learning new skills to begin working towards coping with life differently. I provide an empathic space, with honesty, understanding, and without judgment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical session begins with me asking how the homework assignment went for the week and talking through the level of difficulty and the effectiveness of the skill. Then we go into discussing the new topic of the week, during the session I redirect to the use of skills if needed and end the session with a new homework assignment for the week.
