“I found Lili during a tough transition after a layoff. It was important to me to work with a female BIPOC therapist who could relate to both my professional and personal life, and she's been exactly that. Over several years together, her listening skills, somatic approaches, and inner child work have helped me become more patient and see things through a more forgiving lens. If you're looking for a therapist who does meaningful work while brightening your day, I highly recommend Lili.”

Getting to know Lili Gregory

Hi there, I'm Lili! I'm Lili Gregory, a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) practicing with folks all across California. I work primarily with BIPOC adults who struggle with self-doubt, overthinking, life transitions, conflictual relationships, and people-pleasing. Through a combination of body-centered interventions, mindfulness, and deep processing, I help you build healthy boundaries, bridge connections between your childhood and present-day self, manage personal relationships, and improve your overall confidence. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Columbia University, which has deeply informed my approach to therapy. My approach I engage in this work with the understanding that our bodies are vessels where traumatic or overwhelming experiences are stored. Together in session, we can find healthy releases, heal, and transform. I utilize an anti-shame framework grounded in validation and compassion for each individual's distress-especially when those feelings may have been dismissed, minimized, or ignored throughout their lives. I recognize that building distress tolerance and unlocking healthier ways to manage symptoms requires that the therapeutic relationship be the highest priority. My focus I work with folks who struggle to say no to harmful or unhealthy relationship dynamics, guilt and shame, anxiety, depression, negative childhood experiences, and life transitions. While I have a background working with children and families, I currently work exclusively with individual adults aged 18 and older. My communication style I enjoy making each therapy session a unique experience, with you driving the session. I invite collaboration throughout, asking reflective and open-ended questions to help you explore and reflect on your true feelings and needs around the topics we discuss.
