She obtained her master’s degree in Clinical Community Counseling from The Johns Hopkins University and graduated Chi Sigma Iota with honors. Her clinical work experience and training spans over 10+ years with children, pre-teens, adolescents, young adults, adults, and families of a variety of socioeconomic levels and ethnic backgrounds. Lilia has an approach to therapy that is holistic in nature and works from a Cognitive Behavior Therapy approach (CBT) and borrows techniques from Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Narrative Therapy (NT) Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Gestalt Therapy (GT). Lilia is a Registered Play Therapist and a member of the Association for Play Therapist (APT), and The Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors of Maryland (LCPCM).
