Lillanna Fioretti, MS

Psychotherapist
NY
I am a mental health counselor practicing under a limited permit, with experience supporting individuals navigating Bipolar Disorder, eating disorders, substance use challenges, and trauma. My therapeutic style is eclectic and client-centered, grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and thoughtfully adapted to each client’s unique needs. I work collaboratively and with intention, always honoring your goals and lived experience. I believe our past experiences shape who we are - and that healing often begins by addressing unresolved pain. In our work together, I’ll meet you where you are and move at a pace that feels safe and supportive. I’m not afraid to explore the difficult or uncomfortable, and I’ll be with you every step of the way. My approach is rooted in empathy, compassion, and a deep belief in each person’s capacity for growth. I use a strengths-based, collaborative framework to help you move toward meaningful change. Above all, I strive to create a nonjudgmental, affirming space where you can show up fully as yourself - and feel seen, heard, and supported.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am here to both validate you and challenge you. I am always open to feedback and want to support you in the best way that I can. My goal is for us to work together as a team for you to get a positive therapeutic experience. I typically like to get a clear understanding of what the clients goals are for therapy, then make treatment plans from there and check in with you along the way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Once booked, you will receive two emails from Wellness Counseling Services, LCSW, PLLC one through our online platform, SimplePractice inviting you to our client portal. There you will complete all necessary consents for treatment, your demographic information, and your personalized intake questionnaire to initiate the intake process. Please complete and submit all necessary documentation at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time to allow the clinician to review your reasons for entering into therapy at this time and to complete your two initial intake sessions the first time that you meet. You will also recieve an introductory email from your therapist with our Welcome Letter attached and our admistrative team will be copied on the email for your reference. Please try to complete all documents and information before your initial session with our clinicians. Should you have any trouble doing so, you may log on to your booked appointment through the SimplePractice Portal or give the mainline a call and we will have the therapist will help you through the initial process during that scheduled appointment. The two sequential appointments after will then be used to completed your intial intake assessment. We look forward to working with you!
